IMTMA / i2 Academia – Industry Pavilion at IMTEX FORMING 2026

As part of IMTEX FORMING 2026, IMTMA is organizing the i2 Academia – Industry Pavilion, a dedicated platform for engineering institutions and research organizations to showcase their R&D capabilities in the metal forming sector. Participation includes poster displays and hand-held models.

This edition features 32 engineering institutions from Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra. Outstanding projects will be recognized with cash awards (1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes, along with two Popular Choice Awards). A jury committee, comprising a Chairman and two members, will screen, evaluate, and finalize the awardees.

Quiz Competition

IMTMA is also organising a quiz competition for 12 engineering institutions. Each college may nominate a maximum of five final-year students from Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.

Other criteria as deemed appropriate by the jury

*Projects will be screened and finalized by a Jury Committee.
